Each December, lots of organizations come up with a Thing of the Year. The ones we like to watch for are the Pantone and Etsy announcements for their colours of the year! For 2025, they've each chosen very different colours. Let's take a look!
Pantone has chosen Mocha Mousse as their colour of the year for 2025. According to Pantone, the colour is mellow, rich, comforting, and indulgent. To incorporate Mocha Mousse into your accessories, try looking for pieces made with topaz, dark moonstone, hessonite garnet, chocolate opal, and smoky quartz, and of course wood and petrified wood.
Etsy's 2025 colour of the year is Lime Cream. Fresh, inviting, and uplifting, it’s a colour intended to evoke calm and a break from the chaos of the daily grind. Add lime cream into your jewellery box through jade, aventurine, green variscite, prehnite, green beryl, and chrysoprase.
Put them together, and they give a bit of a mint chocolate chip vibe, don’t they?
