One of our best selling necklaces comes from one of our biggest sources of inspiration: nature.
Several years ago, Drakestail started creating handmade Tree of Life pendants. Inspired by its place in folklore and the soothing, earthy appearance, I decided to create a Tree of Life pendant for myself, initially using silver-plated wire and pale green jade chips. I loved how it turned out, and still wear it often. I got lots of positive comments about it, as well as requests!
Since then we’ve created several variations, using aventurine, carnelian, clear quartz, rose quartz, and more to represent the Tree of Life in different seasons. I’ve also worked some up with copper wire, to great effect. Our Tree of Life pendants use genuine gemstone chips, and hand-formed and hammered round frames. Between the random shapes of the gem chips and twisting each tree trunk by hand, each pendant is unique.
